Renovation! Watch for falling links! Renovation!

Renovation! (at last...)

"Increasingly, people seem to misinterpret complexity as sophistication, which is baffling -- the incomprehensible should cause suspicion rather than admiration. Possibly this trend results from a mistaken belief that using a somewhat mysterious device confers an aura of power on the user."
-Niklaus Wirth

The construction notices at the top of my pages are a sign of great things to come. Almost a year ago I started work on some automation scripts to help me manage my web site. After many interruptions (observatory being torn down, moving, comets...), these pages you are reading are now under control of that system.

This automation system will allow me to better handle such a non-trivial web site, keeping links up to date throughout, catching HTML errors before they get published, and many other features.

So, hang in there, Robert's web site will soon be alive again!

(Yes, I am looking for a job...)
