"You have to push as hard as the age that pushes against you."
-Flannery O'Connor
Thanks to those who have been reporting bugs/typos!
Welcome to my WWW area! Here I try to offer some unique
documents/services to the community.
Have fun! Explore! Taste the sweet nectar...
Good observatories
do not go down easily.
- An Overview of the web areas
of information I offer is available.
- I have had a life long interest in
Astronomy
and Space
- I am very much a Macintosh
enthusiast and guru. With the Web I can provide an even wider
audience with the wonders of the Macintosh (and Apple's technology)
including cross-platform QuickTime and
OpenDoc.
There are also
Network Resources,
Software,
Games,
Frequently Asked Questions,
Humor, and
Programming
pages among others.
- I imagine being born into the space age has had quite an impact on my
interests, especially
Science Fiction,
which includes
Babylon 5 and
Star Trek.
(Deep Space Nine
is definitely the true keeper of the Trek spirit, and has been damn
good this season. If you have previously given up on DSN, try it again!)
Space: Above and Beyond has also managed to grab my interest. Space and
DSN are probably the two best SF shows on right now.
- I have been a WWW evangelist on campus, and been trying to provide
HTML/WWW resources
both locally and for all to enjoy, including a
quick reference guide to resources, some thoughts on
HTML style, and a helpful
template for basic document
structure.
- As further community service I applied, and was selected, to be the
Winter '96 Cybertalk columnist for the
Daily Northwestern.
- I too have the obligatory list of
recommended/useful net places
to visit.
- And then I have a miscellaneous
area of stuff which either has not become organized enough yet,
of I just do not feel that strongly enough to give it special billing.
This includes
Unix references,
Humor,
Movies, and
Music, etc.
Serving fine HTML documents since August 15th, 1993.
